A Day in the Life of a Duty Officer !!

Three decades ago, when typewriters hummed, and beepers beeped, Shree Ajay Kumar Manjul, a trainee of bygone days from the Eastern Forest Rangers College in Kurseong, penned verses that stand as a poetic chronicle of the Duty Officer's unchanging role.

Now, as the General Secretary of the Jharkhand Forest Service (JFS) Officers Association, his words, simple yet profound, serve as a connection between the past and present, illustrating the lasting dedication embedded in the duties of a Duty Officer.

Our East India tour brought us to Jharkhand, where we had the pleasure of engaging with the spirited members of the Jharkhand Forest Service (JFS) Officers Association. The warmth and hospitality extended by them were unparalleled, making them superb hosts.

Manjul Sir's poetic performance was a magical experience. As he delivered his verses in his own voice, the impact was profound. The fusion of words and melody became a unique moment, etching the memory of that special occasion with the JFS officers in Jharkhand.

Don't miss the opportunity to immerse yourself in this captivating journey, where each line echoes the enduring responsibilities that shape the legacy of the Duty Officer.
