"Rahman Sir Ke Chabuk...."

"Rahman Sir Ke Chabuk...." you might have been startled at first, but these are the whips of his words that he considers necessary to bring any task to a state of perfection. He sees it as a way to motivate. This morning at six o'clock, the plantation program was already scheduled in the hostel campus. There was also a light drizzle since early morning. Some officer trainees were hoping that perhaps due to the rain, the plantation program would be canceled, giving them a little more time to enjoy some extra sleep, but then Rahman Sir's loud voice was heard in their ears. Perhaps the lesson of time management is something most of the officer trainees have learned for the first time in their lives. Here, in any official program, even a minute's delay is not tolerated. Celebration of Important National and International Days in the Academy.

Important national and international days are organized in the academy. These significant days can be related to forestry, wildlife, and allied subjects, or any other important subject like World Yoga Day celebrated on 21st June all over the world on the initiative of India.  At the beginning of the month on 5th June the Academy celebrated World Environment Day in a befitting manner. The memories of that event were still fresh in our mind and meanwhile the opportunity of a new event presented itself before us. On the occasion of World Environment Day, all of us Officer Trainees planted one fruit tree each with our own hands and took a pledge to take care of it properly. By the time our training is completed in the academy, some of the trees may be capable of bearing some fruits as well. Today is 21st June and it is also the longest day in the Northern Hemisphere. I am a mango tree !!

By the way, at this time every small market in India is full of different types of mangoes and you can easily buy many varieties of mangoes for just a few rupees per kg, but when you find a good mango tree around your house and if you can get the taste of juicy mangoes for free, then what to say!!  This mango tree, shown in the pictures above, on the side of the footpath leading to the officer trainees hostel in  CASFOS Burnihat, has become a point of attraction for everyone passing by this way at this time. By the way, this training institute is currently home to 48 officer trainees. Out of these 48 officer trainees, 45 are from Rajasthan and 3 are from Uttar Pradesh. These officer trainees have come here for two years of basic training in forestry after passing very tough competitive exams from their respective states. But while passing by this mango tree, seeing the juicy mangoes laden on the tree, these future officers suddenly get a stone in their hand and Then, no m...
